5. Is it possible to submit multiple applications within this project? Is it possible to submit two applications in parallel?
One applicant may receive support under this project a maximum of two times. If an applicant expresses interest in a second grant, preference will be given to training that follows on from the previous course. The second grant may only be awarded after the obligations arising from the first agreement concluded with the Labor Office have been fulfilled. We personally recommend choosing training with us when submitting a second application. If you apply for a grant with us twice, you can study for two years free of charge. However, it is not possible to submit two applications at the same time (in parallel). First, the first application must be submitted, approved, and completed correctly. Then another application can be submitted to the Labor Office. |

Yes, it is possible. Provided that the person is still registered as a job seeker. People on maternity leave are considered employed. Full-time students, sole traders, and entrepreneurs do not have this option. |

In this case, confirmation of termination or suspension of business is required. If the business is still active, it is not possible to apply for the Skills for the Labor Market project. The project is not intended for sole traders and other self-employed persons. |

13. Does the Labor Office reimburse professional titles such as BBA, MBA, MSc, and DBA?
There is an additional fee for obtaining professional titles such as BBA, MBA, MSc, DBA, or MPA. In the case of courses reimbursed through the Labor Office, you will be reimbursed up to approximately €900 including VAT for unemployed persons and up to approximately €1,000 including VAT for employed persons. It is therefore possible to pay extra for the remainder and obtain a professional title. You can choose from the following educational programs: Online Courses, Training Courses, Job Positions. |
14. Do I need to pay for the course in advance at my own expense?
As a grant applicant, you do not pay anything in advance. The Employment Office will reimburse you for the course after you have completed it. |
15. Do you have any recommendations to increase the likelihood of online courses being approved and reimbursed by the Labor Office?
Don’t forget to bring and fill out the form for the Employment Office in advance (it can also be filled out on site), which will save you time and possibly one visit.
We also recommend bringing a printed job offer (e.g., from Profesia.sk or another job portal) to which you could (hypothetically) respond and apply after completing the course.
Our courses are the only ones accredited in the form of online education (distance learning), which allows for 100% reimbursement of the course, meaning you don’t have to pay anything extra. The Labor Office mainly approves accredited courses. |
16. What if I lose my job or, conversely, find a job during my studies?
If you took courses while employed and lost your job during your education, you do not need to register with the Employment Office immediately. You will be self-employed for health insurance purposes, and the Employment Office will reimburse you for the courses. You must submit all the documents required by the Labor Office (certificate + invoice) to us, and only on the following day can you register with the Labor Office. This is the most reasonable solution so that the Labor Office will reimburse you for the courses and you will not have to pay for them yourself.
If you took the courses while unemployed and found a job during your training, you must inform us in advance. We recommend that you inform your employer that you will start work immediately after completing your training. This is again the most sensible solution so that the Labor Office will reimburse you for the courses and you will not have to pay for them yourself. Be careful not to get a job without informing us or the Labor Office. The Labor Office would consider this a failure to meet/violation of the conditions and you would have to pay for the courses yourself without any contribution. |
